In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, machinery operation, and logistics management. *Duties* * Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols * Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment, ensuring timely fulfillment * Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 to track inventory levels and order status * Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment to maintain optimal warehouse organization * Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation * Utilize mechanical knowledge for maintenance or troubleshooting of equipment like forklifts or cranes * Support manufacturing or construction-related tasks when required, including heavy lifting and assembly *Skills* * Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers in a warehouse setting * Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshooting on machinery * Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, order fulfillment, packaging, and load/unload procedures * Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), especially AS400 or similar platforms * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift * Experience in shipping & receiving operations with attention to detail for accurate order processing * Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus for versatile task handling Embark on a rewarding career where your skills drive efficiency and excellence!
