*Role Overview* *Senior Financial Analyst* We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team at a medium-sized manufacturing company covering the medical and transportation equipment sectors. Finance Manager will serve as a strategic partner to senior business leaders, responsible for driving insightful financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, process optimization and performance measurement to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency. *Key Responsibilities* · Lead the *annual budgeting process*, including coordination with functional leads, analysis of assumptions, and consolidation of budgets. · Work across the functional controllers to develop and maintain *quarterly and annual financial forecasts*, providing variance analysis versus budget and prior periods. · Prepare *management reporting packages*, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, risks, and opportunities for executive leadership. · Provide business insight and action plans to *optimize revenue, costs, and profitability* across our operations. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers, develop and refine forecasting models. · Implement and maintain *FP&A best practices*, including creation of new reporting, executive dashboards, and Excel/BI tool enhancements. · Monitor and *analyze key financial metrics*, including margins, production costs, inventory management, cash flow and working capital efficiency. · Coordinate *preparation and filing of corporate tax returns*, working closely with external tax advisors and internal accounting teams. · *Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and business controls*, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices to safeguard company assets and mitigate risk. *Qualifications* * University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field * Accounting designation (CMA, CPA, CA) required * MBA or relevant master?s degree preferred * 5-7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 2?3 years in *FP&A leadership*. * Experience in *manufacturing or industrial environments* strongly preferred. * Proven track record in cross-group collaboration, financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. *Skills and Competencies*: * Strong proficiency in *Excel, financial modelling and Business Intelligence tools* (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc). * Excellent analytical and *problem-solving skills*, with ability to translate complex data into clear, easy to understand insights. * Effective *communication and presentation skills*, capable of influencing decision-making at all organizational levels. * Strong collaborative and proactive mindset, with experience partnering across cross-functional teams * Knowledge of *GAAP *and manufacturing cost accounting principles.
