Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Field location. Radio station or network. Tasks: Monitor broadcast quality of live or taped radio and television programs. Operate and monitor radio and television broadcasting systems to broadcast, receive signals and to regulate clarity and range of sounds and colours of recordings or broadcasts. Make emergency repairs to equipment. Maintain, install and troubleshoot a wide variety of broadcast hardware and software. Provide emergency response when required. Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements. Technical operations experience: Studio equipment and camera. Area of specialization: Technical support. Training specialization (creative and performing arts): Broadcast engineering. Broadcast radio or television arts. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail.
