We care about creating comfortable stays for our guests, memorable experiences for our clients, and a supportive workplace for our teams.</div><div><strong> </strong></div><div>We are looking for an organized and guest-focused <strong>Reservations Supervisor</strong> to support our team at <strong>Chateau Nova Yellowknife</strong> (4571- 48 Street Yellowknife, NWT X1A 0E2). The Reservations Supervisor coordinates the day-to-day work of the reservations team, helps ensure bookings are handled accurately and efficiently, and works closely with other hotel departments to provide a smooth experience for our guests.<br /><br /></div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><ul data-spread="false"><li>Coordinate, assign and review the work of reservations staff.</li><li>Establish work schedules and procedures and organize daily reservations activities.</li><li>Monitor reservations for accuracy and ensure guest requests and booking details are properly recorded.</li><li>Assist employees with complex reservations, guest concerns and operational issues.</li><li>Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping and other hotel departments regarding reservations, room requirements and guest needs.</li><li>Train employees in reservation procedures, hotel policies, guest service standards and use of reservation systems.</li><li>Resolve work-related problems and escalate issues when appropriate.</li><li>Prepare and maintain reservation records, reports and other operational information.</li><li>Help ensure the smooth operation of reservation and property-management systems and report system or equipment issues.</li><li>Assist with individual and group reservations as required and perform reservation duties during busy periods.</li><li>Support the onboarding and training of new reservations employees.</li></ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul data-spread="false"><li>Completion of secondary school is required.</li><li>Previous experience working in hotel reservations, front desk, guest services or a similar accommodation services position is required.</li><li>Related college coursework in hospitality, tourism or accommodation services is an asset.</li><li>Experience coordinating or supervising employees is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of reservation systems, property-management systems and general computer applications.</li><li>Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Good organization, accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to resolve guest and employee concerns professionally.</li><li>Ability to prioritize work and coordinate activities with multiple hotel departments.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational requirements, including weekends and holidays when required.</li></ul><div><strong>Employment Type:</strong></div><ul><li>Permanent, Full time</li><li>30-40 hours per week depending upon business needs</li><li>Wage: $23.56 per hour</li><li>NOC: 62022</li></ul><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Nova Perks:</strong></div><div>In addition to competitive wages, we offer:</div><div>• Meal program</div><div>• Staff rates at any of our locations throughout NWT, Saskatchewan and Alberta.</div><div>• Friends & Family Rates at any of our locations</div><div>• Extended Health Benefits for full time employees</div><div>• Employee Discounts at the F&B Outlets<br /><br /></div><div>We thank all applicants for their interest in Nova Hotels.
