Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Commercial. Residential. Various locations. Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills.
