*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while maintaining excellent food safety standards and delivering exceptional customer experiences. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards * Assist in food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients * Ensure all food is handled, stored, and cooked following proper food safety protocols * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout the shift * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders * Serve dishes to customers efficiently while maintaining quality standards * Follow sanitation procedures and uphold health regulations at all times * Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed *Requirements* * Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred * Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly * Understanding of food handling safety and sanitation standards * Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure * Excellent teamwork and communication skills * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment * Experience with serving or food presentation is a plus * Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming work environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour Benefits: * Discounted or free food Experience: * Line Cook: 2 years (required) * Restaurant : 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (preferred) Work Location: In person- Location Hamilton, ON
