Valley Blades Limited has continued to grow and expand their business, but more importantly we are proud of the people that work here, we really function like a family.* Valley Blades Limited is currently hiring for an Outside Sales Representative - Southwestern Ontario to join our team. *Location* Southwestern, Ontario *Job Summary* The Outside Sales Representative ? Southwestern Ontario, reports directly to the Sales Coordinator and Vice President and is responsible for managing the Southwestern Ontario sales region. This role focuses on driving revenue by selling company products, maintaining regular communication with customers, and achieving established sales targets. The Outside Sales Representative will meet business objectives through effective territory management and regular in-person visits to customer sites. The role also involves building and sustaining strong, profitable customer relationships while consistently representing the company in a professional manner. *Job Duties* * Have a foundation of knowledge on industry parts. * Manage and develop the sales territory to achieve or exceed sales targets. * Pursuing new business opportunities through networking, referrals, research and industry relationships. * Provide product knowledge and demonstrations to customers on-site or at trade shows. * Provide a solution-based sales technique to meet customer requirements. * Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports. * Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue. * Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner and maintain Valley Blades Limited highly regarded reputation. * Actively and independently manage your territory: * Answering daily phone calls. * Respond to customer emails in a timely manner. * Visit customers on site. * Maintain accurate records including CRM, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation. * Participate in monthly sales meetings, attend training sessions, and company events. * Build and maintain customer relations, and continue researching new products and services, and competitor activities. * Complete deliveries to customers daily. * Other duties as assigned. *Job Requirements* * Minimum of 3 years of direct work experience in an external sales capacity. * Bilingual, Trilingual, or Multilingual is an asset. * Previous experience in construction, mining, or snow industry. * Must possess a valid driver?s license and passport. * Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance. * Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent listening skills. * Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm. * Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures. * Ability to work individually and as part of a team. * Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and e-mail required. * Computer literacy with Business Central. * Strong mathematical skills when computing fractions, imperial measurements, and complete/convert equations. * Ability to operate from a remote office. * High level of integrity and work ethic. *Working Conditions* * Frequent travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day. * Possibility of international travel. * Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations and- Location Waterloo, ON
