<p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Project Manager</strong> to lead custom architectural millwork projects from approved shop drawings through to installation and closeout.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who understands both the technical and production sides of millwork and can keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.</p> <p><em>Burnaby, BC | Full-Time | In-Person</em></p> <p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>$35–$45/hour, based on experience and capability</li> <li>Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and long-term disability</li> <li>Overtime paid in accordance with provincial guidelines</li> <li>Relocation assistance available for the right candidate</li> <li>Minimum 40 hours per week, in-person role</li> <li>On-site parking</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage projects from shop drawing approval through production, installation, and closeout</li> <li>Coordinate with clients, designers, trades, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution</li> <li>Interpret architectural drawings and ensure they are translated into accurate, buildable shop drawings</li> <li>Oversee schedules, scope, and deliverables to keep projects on track</li> <li>Review technical details, nesting files, and CNC outputs (Microvellum / ARDIS)</li> <li>Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact production or installation</li> <li>Maintain clear communication across all stakeholders</li> <li>Track commitments, timelines, and project milestones</li> <li>Deliver projects with minimal deficiencies and high client satisfaction</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience managing custom commercial millwork projects</li> <li>Hands-on millwork experience in a professional shop environment (6+ person shop preferred)</li> <li>Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings</li> <li>Solid understanding of shop drawing processes and production workflows</li> <li>Working knowledge of AWMAC / NAAWS standards</li> <li>Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through</li> <li>Experience with Microvellum, Wood CAD/CAM, or Cabinet Vision</li> <li>(Microvellum preferred; training available if needed)</li> <li>Familiarity with CNC processes (nesting, toolpaths, optimization; 4-axis is an asset)</li> <li>Excellent communication skills across email, phone, and in-person</li> <li>Reliable, team-oriented, and solution-focused</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to reliably commute to Burnaby, BC or relocate prior to starting</li> <li>English proficiency required</li> <li>Secondary school education preferred</li> <li>5+ years of professional millwork experience preferred</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHY YOU’LL WANT TO APPLY WITH IS2:</strong></p> <ul> <li>IS2 works for you.
