* Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering (Required) * CCIL Certification (Preferred) * Previous experience in soil and asphalt compaction, concrete testing, and subgrade evaluation considered an asset. * Possess a personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage (Required). * Willing and able to work in both field and office environments, with travel as required. * Strong computer skills with proficiency in common industry software. * Flexible, well-organized, motivated for both technical and personal growth, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. * Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong report writing skills and fluency in English communication (verbal and written). * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and respond proactively to time-sensitive matters Job Types: Part-time, Contract Contract length: 12 months Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour Experience: * Material testing: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * CCIL Certificate (required) Work Location: In person- Location Markham, ON
