We are looking for a focused and professional *Delivery Driver* to join our team. As the face of Korna Pet on the road, you will be responsible for ensuring our products reach customers safely, efficiently, and with a positive attitude. *Key Responsibilities* *Safe & Professional Driving* * *Adherence to Protocol:* Always follow Korna Pet safe driving procedures. * *Mindset:* Maintain a focused, courteous, patient, and respectful attitude. We believe focus and preparedness are the best tools for accident prevention. * *Consistency:* We value a safety-first culture. We expect our drivers to apply the same high standards of responsibility to their personal driving as they do when representing the company. *Operational Duties* * *Efficiency:* Start the *Daily Driving Checklist* immediately upon shift commencement and depart the store promptly. * *Vehicle Maintenance:* Conduct thorough *pre-trip checks* before every departure to prevent breakdowns. Ensure the weekly checklist printout is maintained in the van. * *Parking & Logistics:* Utilize designated parking areas. For Vancouver and Burnaby deliveries, use the *Pay By Phone* app to locate parking and manage sessions. *Customer Service & Representation* * *Brand Ambassadorship:* Deliveries should include a friendly smile and a sincere "thank you." * *Policy Compliance:* All store policies (e.g., no smoking in the van) and dress code requirements must be upheld, including wearing your lanyard at all times. *Physical Requirements & Environment* * *Lifting & Carrying:* Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to *40 lbs* (e.g., large bags of pet food, crates, and supplies) repeatedly throughout the shift. * *Stairs & Access:* Deliveries frequently include locations without elevator access; you must be comfortable climbing *multiple flights of stairs* while carrying heavy items to complete "to-the-door" service. * *Stamina:* Ability to maintain a high energy level and a positive attitude during a physically demanding work day. *Qualifications* * *Licensing:* Current, valid driver?s license for the province of operation. * *Driving Record:* Must maintain a clean driving record to remain insurable under the company?s liability policy.
