Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Build and repair wooden frames used to mould concrete products. Check products for quality control. Position reinforcing rods or wire mesh in moulds. Fill moulds with concrete. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Tamp concrete using electric vibrator. Remove castings from moulds. Finish surfaces of castings using screed or trowel. Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
