Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies. Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Assemble or connect electrical components. Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Connect cables, tubes and wires. Operate automated assembling equipment. Fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment. Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning. Area of specialization: Installation. Assembly. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
