Reporting to the Director, Pathways to Education, Unison is seeking to fill a Community Social Services Worker Summer position.
*Job Responsibilities:*
· Planning, facilitation and implementation of various summer activities and events in the community, including Pathways orientation for the upcoming school year
· Volunteer recruitment to support programs
· Community outreach activities
· Supporting Lotherton Community Summer Camp and other events at 107 Lotherton Pathway
· Filing, organizing at Pathways office and at Unison (12 Flemington Rd.)
_· _*Travel between Lawrence Heights, Lotherton, and Neptune communities will be required.*
_*To qualify for this position under the Canada Summer Jobs Program, candidates must:*_
· be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
· be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
· be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
