Administrative Support - - Position Summary Title: Fundraising and Promotions officerReports to: Quebec Director, Community and School RacingWorkplace: Montreal, Quebec, in personJob type: Full-time, permanent, 35 hours per week Start date: June 9, 2025 The Terry Fox Foundation is seeking a bilingual, dynamic and motivated Fundraising and Events Coordinator to support the growth and promotion of Terry Fox initiatives in Quebec. Reporting to the Quebec Director of School and Community Runs, and under the guidance of the Senior Director of School Runs and the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating fundraising and promotions activities, event planning, and strengthening community and school engagement across the province. Key Responsibilities Fundraising and donor relations - Provide general support to fundraising initiatives across Quebec.- Coordinate communications and follow-ups with partners, donors and volunteers via telephone, e-mail and written correspondence in French and English.- Participate in donor retention efforts, including thank-you and recognition activities.- Support the Director in identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential funding partners, including foundations and government entities.- Ensure that donor and partner data is updated in Salesforce, and that fundraising documents are properly organized and archived to support the annual audit process. Events and Community Involvement - Contribute to the planning, coordination and logistics of major events, including the Terry Fox School and Community Runs.- Provide support to the Montreal Run committee, ensuring ongoing communication and collaboration.- Represent the Foundation at community events and activities, as required. Promotions - Collaborate in the management and development of the Foundation's social media and media presence in Quebec.- Conduct research to support development strategies and communications initiatives.- Coordinate the creation and dissemination of communications tools related to campaigns, events and community involvement. Administrative and operational support - Support general office operations and perform other duties as required in relations to the Fundraising and events.- Help ensure consistency of internal documentation and communication processes. Competencies & Qualifications - Fluent in English and French, with excellent writing skills in both languages.- Experience in fundraising, communications or coordination in a non-profit or community setting is a strong asset.- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems - experience with Salesforce is an asset.- Excellent research skills and attention to detail.- Ability to meet tight deadlines on a regular basis.- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.- High level of autonomy, ingenuity and efficiency.- Precision, rigor and versatility are the keys to success in this position.
