As an Accounting Student you will have the opportunity to develop studied skills, gain hands on accounting experience and grow your industry knowledge. As a leader in the industry, Richardson is proud to be one of the first accredited employers in Manitoba to support new grads in attaining their CPA designation.&nbsp;Responsibilities:Develop skills through independent and team workPerform tasks in various aspects of the accounting cycleReconcile and analyze general ledger accountsPrepare journal entries and business analysis&nbsp;Qualifications:University students majoring in Accounting, pursuing CPA requirementsResults-oriented self-startersIndependent and team-oriented workersStrong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skillsProficient in prioritizing tasks, handling deadlines, and using Microsoft Excel&nbsp;Richardson works to ensure that individuals&rsquo; formal education and training will be enhanced through exposure to various aspects of the accounting cycle (e.g. accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial statement preparation, contract management, costing and month end accounting and reporting).&nbsp;Did you know that:Co-op students often return or are hired permanently after graduationRichardson hires up to 15 Accounting students each termStudents who have moved into permanent roles gain diverse business experience and skills by working in multiple areas&nbsp;If you are interested in joining our team, please submit your Resume/Cover Letter (or CACEE form if preferred) and transcript by clicking the APPLY TO THIS POSITION icon, by June 15, 2025.
