In this role you will work as part of a dedicated team providing innovative financing and advisory solutions for small and medium-sized businesses throughout Kawartha Lakes that support both business start-up and expansion.
You will bring your strong relationship building, business development and presentation skills, as well as expertise in managing and administering a loan portfolio. Additionally, you will provide intuitive business planning and forecasting knowledge to applicants and utilize experience in due diligence and loan underwriting.

6) And, the salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000
*Responsibilities include:*
· Completing required reporting to funding partners
· Providing ongoing updates on key performance indicators
· Ensuring ongoing compliance with funding providers
· Meet with clients to determine needs and suitability for financing
· Conduct loan application interviews, review personal net worth statement and Business Plan documents
· Analyze loan applications and cash flow projections, verify security and establish terms and conditions for the loan
· Investigate client credit history from Equifax through credit bureau reporting, and conduct PPSA searches and Mortgage property searches as required
· Assist in the development of business plans and cash flow projections, when required
· Prepare and present summaries of loan submissions for approval to the Executive Director and Board
· Liase with Lawyers, Accountants, CRA representative and other professionals regarding any client
· Enter information into FERN loans software and produce necessary reports for review with Executive Director and Board
· Managing a pipeline of financing applicants and supporting them through the process
· Forging and strengthening relationships with other ecosystem partners to support small businesses
· Assisting and supporting the Executive Director in developing and sustaining a culture of innovation in the community, among our strategic partners and stakeholders
· Creating moments of ?wow? for our clients and stakeholders
· Responding to inquiries regarding sources of funding, business ideas, government funding and services offered and the operation of small business, providing consultation and referral as needed
· Maintaining ongoing knowledge and awareness of government programs and opportunities available to small business / entrepreneurs and not-for-profits by which to further serve the community
· Taking on additional areas of responsibility relative to Launch Kawarthas business services as identified, and assist with new programs and service initiatives
· Supporting events, seminars and workshops in a facilitation capacity to spur innovation and economic growth in the community
*The ideal candidate will possess (preferred but not essential qualifications):*
· A post-secondary degree/diploma in business, finance, or economic development, or equivalent experience
· A minimum three years? experience providing business counselling, financial analysis and business plan assessment; specifically working with small to medium sized businesses
· A minimum five years? experience in loan management including preparation of security/co
