Mixed Sweet Media (MSW) is a full-service marketing agency located in Calgary. Our services include web development, graphic design, photography, videography, social media management, brand creation, marketing strategies & more. We provide our clients with high-quality, value-added services, maintaining their marketing activities to ensure success in both the B2B & B2C space. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced contract Graphic Designer. This remote position requires availability Monday through Friday and involves a variety of design projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills are essential to ensure smooth collaboration with our team. Duties: * Create visually appealing graphics for various platforms including digital and print. * Collaborate with the marketing team and clients to develop design concepts. * Guide ideas to meet both creative and business goals within project scope, while maintaining a strong focus on brand identity and consistency. * Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and provide updates. * Anticipate and address potential design challenges, ensuring flawless execution. * Present design solutions persuasively, articulating design rationale clearly and effectively to stakeholders. * Review final deliverables meticulously, ensuring quality and accuracy in layout, imagery, and typography. * Continuously seek opportunities to refine design thinking, improve workflows, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in graphic design. * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). * Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual design principles. * Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Excellent file organization skills.
