*Job Title: Production Assistant* *Company: Architectural Way-finding and Signage Firm* *Location: Edmonton * *Job Type: Full-Time/Part- Time, Permanent* *Responsibilities:* * Typesetting * Vinyl Application (cut, weed, mask) to various substrates * Component assembly * Deliveries: shipping/receiving * Organization your work space and keep it clean * Learn and operate printers, laminators and vinyl plotters * Operation of basic hand tools * Monitor the status of projects in and advise Project Manager if changes in production and/or installation schedule are necessary * Light installation, as required *Attributes:* * Attention to detail * Time management, managing multiple priorities (multi-tasker) * Working under pressure, meeting deadlines * Strong work ethic, takes pride in work * Work independently, as well as part of a team * Listens to instructions * Self-starter, takes initiative, * Fast learner, willingness for continuous learning * Willingness for ongoing changes, both with professional development, as well as implementing new process policies, and/or safety procedures, etc * Professional demeanor, positive attitude * Excellent written & verbal communication skills * Excellent organization skills * Good sense of design, relevant previous related experience would be considered a strong asset * Has and maintains a comprehensive understanding of materials, construction and manufacturing process. *Job Types:* · Full time/Part time · Permanent *Schedule:* · 8-hour shift · Monday to Friday · Overtime as needed If you meet these qualifications and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
