Position Summary: Tacten is currently recruiting for Journeyperson IRATA B-Pressure or CWB Welders to join our projects team at our CNRL site in Fort McMurray, AB. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you. Responsibilities:Perform welding on high-pressure systems using various welding processes such as SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding). Weld components in all positions including flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Ensure welds meet specified standards and pass non-destructive testing methods (e.g., X-ray, ultrasonic testing). Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Prepare materials by cutting, fitting, and assembling them as required.
