Here's a job for you!Service Manager - Project Co-ordinatorPurpose of the roleIn the automotive world, every equipment installation is a choreography of precision.To ensure installations and servicing run smoothly, we need someone who sees beyond the blueprints and understands the full picture, from planning to execution.This role plays a central part in our organization as we supply, install, and provide after-sale service of mechanics and body shop equipment in workshops across Quebec.We?re looking for someone who can bring structure to operations, suggest concrete ways to increase efficiency in the field, and lead every installation project with rigor and vision. Someone who knows how to guide a team of 8 to 10 technicians (electromechanics and assemblers) and create the conditions to deliver quality results, on time and with pride.Why this job is worth your time - You?ll be part of a well-established, small business that knows its industry.- You?ll have real freedom to organize, improve, and make a lasting impact.- You?ll benefit from:- a company vehicle for your site visits,- group insurance (health, dental, travel),- a retirement savings plan with employer contributions,- ongoing training,- free parking,- and a fast-paced, hands-on work environment.What we expect from you- Oversee equipment installation projects from planning to start-up.- Coordinate site visits, logistics, suppliers, subcontractors, and client follow-ups.- Read and interpret technical plans (AutoCAD), understand technical needs, and anticipate challenges.- Plan the team's work for installations and after-sales service (8 to 10 employees: electromechanics and assemblers), track timelines, and act as a key point of contact.- Offer customers technical assistance remotely and offer appropriate solutions, services, or products.- Provide clients with professional, reliable service that meets the standards of our industry.- Represent the company at trade shows or demonstrations when needed.- Be a driver of continuous improvement within the organization by helping our practices evolve from project to project and by helping our practices evolve for project installations.What we?re looking for- You understand the realities of both the field and technical requirements.- You?re organized, autonomous, and can stay focused even when things get busy.- You can lead a team without micromanaging and can take initiative.- You?re solid with the basics: plan reading, mechanical logic, hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and digital tools.- You?re fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.- You have a valid driver?s license and are comfortable going on location.- Training in mechanics, electromechanics, or project coordination is an asset.About Les Équipements & Services Filco Inc.For over 35 years, Les Équipements & Services Filco Inc. has been helping mechanics and bodyshops acquire, install, and maintain their specialized equipment.
