Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Assess offenders' prospects for successful reintegration into the community. Perform administrative tasks. Plan rehabilitation programs with offenders, establishing rules of conduct, goals and objectives. Refer offenders to community and social services programs. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Evaluate offenders' progress. Housekeeping activities. Food preparation. Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Resolve conflict situations. Supervise children's visits with parents to ensure their safety. Assist offenders in pre-release and release planning. Offer mentoring. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). First Aid Certificate. Target audience: Adolescents. Persons with mental health disabilities.
