*Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Marcus Contracting. In this role, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment if knowledgeable, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.
*Responsibilities*
* Diagnose and repair automotive issues on company vehicles and heavy machinery.
* Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of all vehicles.
* Utilize power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively.
* Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during repairs or maintenance activities.
* Operate heavy equipment such as cranes when necessary for repairs or site servicing.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and practices.
* Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely.
* Experience with heavy equipment operation is an asset.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
