We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, with experience in servicing and repairing trailers and related equipment. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fleet operates efficiently and meets industry standards.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components.
* Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Utilize hand tools and industrial equipment to complete repairs effectively.
* Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
*Qualifications*
* Certified Journeyman Trailer Mechanic.
* Two or more years related experience.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for trailer repairs.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and industrial equipment.
* Hydraulic experience is an asset.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
* Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures & policies.
