J & J Equipment Repair is currently looking for a full time Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Apprentice to join our team at our shop in Powassan. Job Description & Responsibilities: * Repair and service agricultural and industrial heavy equipment within established time standards * Maintenance on Agricultural and Heavy Equipment * Diagnostic and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems on agricultural and heavy equipment * Maintain excellent customer relations * Undertake assignments as required in support of client needs * Documenting and communicating work needed and work performed * Participate in workplace safety at all times Key Qualifications/Requirements: * Previous experience in agricultural and industrial equipment an asset * Must be able to read and understand prints, drawings and technical bulletins * Must have strong attention to detail and be able to manage often changing and competing priorities * Must posses a valid class G driver's license * Must be motivated, and have a strong work ethic * Must be punctual and have the ability to work without constant supervision * Computer skills an asset * Have tools applicable to the position J & J Equipment Repair thanks all applicants; however, only selected candidates will be contacted. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Powassan, ON P0H1Z0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * mechanical: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Class G Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationPowassan, ON
