*TRUCK AND COACH TECHNICIAN (310T)*
LH North Ltd. is a leading heavy-civil construction company in Northwestern Ontario, specializing in the design and construction of high-quality infrastructure such as bridges, roads, deep foundations, and underground water systems. The company is now accepting applications for Truck and Coach Technician (310T) who meet the following qualifications:
*Primary Duties & Responsibilities:*
Inspect, repair and maintain commercial trucks, and road transport vehicles, including performing work on:
* Structural, mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
* Engines including fuel, exhaust, intake and emission controls
* Transmissions, clutches, drive shafts and axles
* body and trim, frames and hitching/coupling systems
* steering, suspension and computer control systems
* tires, wheels and hubs
* braking systems including air supply and hydraulic, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
· Perform duties in compliance with appropriate safety legislation/regulations/company policy and procedure
· Complete maintenance reports and documentation as required
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
*Qualifications:*
· Licensed Truck and Coach Technician Trade Certification (310T)
· Efficient problem solving and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as a team member
· Must have own tools and 8-inch steel toe CSA approved footwear
· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
· Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy duty truck repairs and service preferred
· Valid Safety Inspection Certificate is considered an asset
· Valid Class A License with Air Brake Endorsement is considered an asset (for road tests)
· Valid Working at Heights certification and Standard First Aid training are considered an asset
