Full Throttle Heavy Duty Service is looking for a qualified Heavy Duty/Truck Transport Service Technician.
- Minimum 2-3 yrs repair/maintenance of heavy duty equipment or related machinery.
- Must provide own tools.
- Speak, writes, and read English.
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Must possess a valid drivers license, and capable of getting to and from work.
- 1A drivers license would be an asset, but not required.
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time carrying out strenuous/heavy physical tasks.
- Time management skills are an asset. Capable of working independently and complete tasks in a timely fashion.
-SGI Inspection certifications would be an asset but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance and repair of gas, diesel engines and equipment.
- Must be able to read and interpret owner, operator, manufacturer operating manuals, and service specifications to complete job tasks.
- Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained.
- adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts components and systems.
- General testing/diagnosing and repairs of equipment for proper performance, ensuring that the work that is done meets manufacturers specifications and legislated regulations. Be able to diagnose faults or malfunctions.
- Good decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. With potential for going on-site for service truck work during the days. We are a locally owned, family business, established in 2014. Our Heavy Duty repair sector is growing rapidly and this is an expansion position due to the acquisition of new contract work and a growing customer base.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
