We are now recruiting for a full-time *Assistant Restaurant Manager* at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre in Regina, SK.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, this position will manage *WildSage Kitchen & Bar *and will assist in achieving quality service targets, marketing, sales, and profitability goals for the Wild Sage Restaurant by executing marketing strategies, providing exceptional service to the customers and employing leadership and managerial skills effectively.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Responsible for the daily operation of the WildSage Kitchen & Bar
* Achieve revenue and profit goals by assisting the F&B team in developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and control costs, providing forecasting of revenue and expenses on a monthly basis
* Implement and maintain control procedures and maintain appropriate inventories
* Responsible for monitoring local competitors to ensure competitive prices, experience, and promotional events
* Up to date with provincial liquor guidelines, and ensure all associates are trained on such guidelines
* Responsible for ordering and maintaining levels of sellable product (i.e., beer, liquor, wine, mixes, etc.)
* In conjunction with the F&B Management, conduct monthly communication meetings, create internal associate action and development plans, utilize the performance management tool, and provide progressive coaching where necessary
* Engage associates in experience delivery, focusing on guest relations
* Ensure that associates are utilizing upselling techniques while providing customer service
* Maximize productivity through proper budgeting, scheduling and cost control
* Train staff to be star performers, ensuring full implementation of the associate on-boarding program and standards
* Develop, administer, and review Performance Plans with associates and set objectives
* Acts as support for servers and bartenders when busy or short staffed. This includes acting as a bar porter, host, server, bartender, and busser numerous times throughout the week
* Work with the Director of F&B Sales to create marketing campaigns for each promotional event, including advertising, in-house marketing, and external marketing
* Assist in the development of an ongoing social media plan, including posting to, monitoring, and responding to comments and questions on IG & Facebook
* Assist in the development of an ongoing marketing strategy that includes a 3-month rolling calendar of events

*Preferred Education & Qualifications:*
* Minimum 2-3 years? experience in a food & beverage leadership role
* Previous managerial/supervisory experience
* Able to work a variety of shifts with open availability ? weekends, evenings and some stat holidays included
* Wine certification an asset
* Must be proficient in all Microsoft office suite products
* WHMIS certificate required
* Serve It Right certificate required
* Experienced with micros or other point of sales systems
* Food Safe certificate
