*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency with both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. *Duties* * Diagnose vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. * Perform repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs. * Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and recommendations. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the shop. * Adhere to safety protocols and dealership standards at all times. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or repair shop setting. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive systems. * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear manner. * Experience with welding is a plus but not required. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are preferred.
