Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, kitchen operations, and leadership. You will oversee kitchen staff, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties:
- works as a line cook as needed
Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking activities
- Monitor food production
- Train new employees on kitchen procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to create menus and specials
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any kitchen-related issue
Skills:
- Leadership skills to effectively manage kitchen staff
- Experience in hotel or restaurant management
- Proficiency in food handling and preparation techniques
- Strong customer service orientation
- Knowledge of kitchen operations including cooking methods and equipment
- Previous experience as a cook or in the food industry
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively
