Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Services for the homeless. Work setting: Women's shelter. Shelter for the homeless. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Perform administrative tasks. Housekeeping activities. Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research. Supervision: 11-15 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Target audience: Adolescents. Children. Families. Females. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail. MS Office. Area of work experience: Community service organization. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Work under pressure. Attention to detail.
