Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Asset languages: Mandarin. Cantonese. Tasks: Prepare patients for dental examinations. Prepare plaster models and moulds. Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases. Order dental and office supplies. Prepare dental instruments and filling materials. Maintain and order supplies. Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment. Educate patients concerning oral hygiene. Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant. Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays. Perform intra-oral duties. Take and develop X-rays. Record dental procedures performed on patients. Fabricate and place temporary crowns and restorations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Registration with provincial or territorial authorities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?.
