Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Shop fabrication. Tasks: Manufacture and assemble in the factory the ducts for hot air heating, air conditioning and ventilation. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification. Cut materials using power tools or by hand. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Organized. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
