Accencis Group is currently seeking a Project Manager to direct, design, and coordinate interior design projects. Reporting directly to the partners and associates, you will guide the interior design team through all phases of the design process. The Project Manager plays a crucial role in each project, establishing the project trajectory, developing architectural details, securing permits, and authoring construction documents. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in providing professional architectural services for retail, hospitality, and commercial projects in Canada.
*Responsibilities*
* Understand and work within the project budget, scope of work and project schedule.
* Attend team, client, consultant and contractor meetings as required through the project process to effectively progress and deliver the project.
* Identify issues of potential risk proactively during the project process.
* Create construction drawings/permit application drawings. These must include all necessary details, notes, and specifications for construction, compliance and building permit approval.
* Complete structural design in coordination with a structural engineer. You?ll work closely with our out-sourced structural engineer to have all relevant structural components and connections specified and detailed.
* Prepare, submit and track PERMIT (BLD, PLB & HVAC) application packages with all necessary drawings, documents and forms included for permit issuance. You?ll also complete permit revisions in coordination with PM, engineers, clients and trades.
* Construction Administration: Assist with the build as the project requires by detailing architectural considerations, coordinating the team and trades and troubleshooting unexpected site conditions.
* Responsible for the conception, design, and execution of projects in all phases of the interior design process (proposal, bidding and tender, construction, closeout)
* Provide innovative and functional design solutions and develop processes for improved design and quality
* Generate Concept Design, Schematic Design, and Design Development packages, proposals, bidding and tender packages, construction documents, and working budgets
* Ensure projects are on track to meet project requirements, deadlines, and budgets and participate in post-construction quality reviews
