Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted. Repair cracks and holes. Mix paint to desired colour and texture. Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. First Aid Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Equipment and machinery experience: Airless spray equipment. Brush painting. Roller painting. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Uniform. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Initiative. Reliability.
