Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Oversee operational logistics of the organization. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries. Maintain work records and logs. Monitor personnel workloads and locations. Recruit and hire staff. Train workers in duties and policies. Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices. Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations. Respond to urgent calls from individual who find themselves in life threatening situation and who require assistance . Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Supervision: 5-10 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .- LocationBrampton, ON
