Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Perform repair work on heavy trucks. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanism and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Reliability. Team player. Organized.
