Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Work setting: Commercial or in-house printers. Tasks: Prepare production schedules. Review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence and quantities required. Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity. Set up press and operate at slow speed to check samples. Monitor regular press run for quality using computer control console. Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run. Type of press: Flexographic press. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Overtime required. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
