We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RECE or Primary/Junior OCT Teacher (with the experience and skills to teach children both Preschool Ages 2.5 5 years old and Ages 6-9 years old) for our PREPSKILLS Kindred Spirits Enrichment Programs held at our Yonge St. & Lawrence Ave. Toronto location.<p>About Kindred Spirits Enrichment Programs: <p>Ages 2.5 to 5 years: Children will enjoy transformational growth as they explore a cross-curricular program, while nurturing their love of learning!<p>Just like the life cycle of a butterfly, children will develop the skills to transform from caterpillar to butterfly!<p>Our theme-based programs emphasize lessons in Resilience, Resourcefulness, and Relationships while building Confidence through Creativity.<p>Your Child will Soar to New Heights!<p>Ages 6 to 9 years: Just when the Children thought the FUN was over, they became BUTTERFLIES!<p>Children will continue to Flutter with Confidence to develop Critical Thinking, Writing, Math, Reading, Speaking and Character Skills.<p>Our theme-based programs emphasize lessons in Risk-Taking, Responsibility, and Relationships while building Confidence through Creativity.<p>Your Child will Emerge a Leader!Our Kindred Spirits Mission: <p>Inspire others with words of wisdom, consciousness to new ideas, blessings of hope, revelations of an illuminating journey, recollections that replenish the spirit, or rejoicing stories of courage and triumph.<p>Kindred Spirits is designed to help Children connect to a deeper and greater understanding and appreciation of life and the potential that it offers.<p>Life is a gift, and the best way to honour that gift is to, like a butterfly, simply take wing and fly! <p>Duties include: Develop and implement lesson plans that align for children Ages 2.5 years 9 years old.<p> Provide engaging and age-appropriate instruction in subjects such as English, Math, and Science, Art<p> Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and creativity<p> Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly<p> Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and stimulate childrens abilities<p> Collaborate with parents, staff to support student learning and development<p> Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment <p>Skills: Proficiency in early childhood education and Grades 1-3 principles and practices<p> Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues<p> Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively<p> Experience working with children in an educational setting<p> Maintains a positive mindset toward child learning and social-emotional development<p> Experience creating age-appropriate curriculum<p> Familiarity with educational technology tools for classroom instruction<p> Passion for educating young learners and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth <p>If you are a dedicated, passionate educator with a love for teaching young children, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity and join our team!Qualifications/Requirements: Primary/Junior Ontario Certified Teacher or Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) qualifications<p> At least 1 year experience<p> Post-Secondary Education in a related field Early Childhood Education or Primary Junior OCT<p> Excellent oral and written communication skills<p> Ability to create lessons, organize and manage location programs.<p> Strong organizational and leadership skills<p> Current certification in Standard First Aid
