We are a specialized weld shop who deals with high grade material looking for someone to join our team and help drive growth.</p><p>What can Cambridge Pro Fab can Offer to you:</p><ul><li>Competitive wage and great working hours</li><li>Covered under our Group Insurance Plan for medical and dental benefits</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Vision care</li><li>Life and travel insurance</li><li>Annual Boot and Prescription Safety Glasses Allowance</li><li>Education Assistance</li><li>Employee Recognition Programs</li><li>Safe work culture</li></ul><p><br> <strong>About the Position:</strong></p><p>The role of an Intermediate Detailer is to provide structural design and detailing to complete fabrication drawings for the structural drafting/ drafting for the gas turbine and environmental industry.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Hours of Work: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Friday) Total of 40 Hours Per Week<br><br>What will you be doing:</p><ul><li>Use AutoCAD/Solid Works/ Stru-CAD to prepare accurate models and detailed shop drawings.</li><li>Check, review and organize drawing packaged to meet detailing standards.</li><li>Verify the accuracy of drawings and documents (ie. Review drawings vs. specifications, standards, etc.) and revise as necessary.</li><li>Requisition material.</li><li>Issue drawings to the shop for fabrication in accordance with production schedule.</li><li>Prepare work orders and bills of material</li><li>Finish work within project timelines and budget hours.</li><li>Promptly communicate all issues and changes that could impact the project schedule or scope to the Project Manager.</li><li>Check the work of other detailers as required.</li><li>Creation of various documents as required.</li><li>Adhere to drafting standards, software, processes, polices and procedures, while adapting them to varied conditions required by customers.</li><li>Travelling to other CPF shops, jobsites, customers, suppliers and/or contractors/sub-contractors as required.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p> <br> <ul><li>Minimum 1-3 years? experience as a detailer.</li><li>Knowledge in basic drafting standards and principles.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication skills and a clear understanding of the English language in both Oral and Written form.</li><li>The ability to pay close attention to detail, precision, and accuracy.</li><li>Experience in the drafting field is an asset.</li><li>The ability to apply basic math skills including trigonometry.</li><li>Must have a good understanding of both 2D and 3D CAD.</li><li>Able to safely perform duties with a minimum amount of supervision.</li><li>Formal Technical Institute and/or University training is an asset but not a requirement.</li><li>Must have proficient knowledge in computers and relevant software applications.</li><li>Must have proficient knowledge in customer service practices and principles.</li><li>Computer skills including the ability to use spreadsheet and word processing programs at a highly proficient level.Understanding metric and imperial measurements.</li><li>Decision making skills.</li><li>Proven time management.</li><li>Works well under pressure.</li><li>Demonstrate initiative and is a proactive problem solver.</li><li>Be proactive and accountable for deadlines and job requirements.</li><li>Proven record of punctuality and reliability with a good attendance and per
