Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials. Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products. Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers. Clean work area. Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools. Load and unload vehicles using forklift or dolly. Welding techniques: MIG. TIG. Type of industry experience: Metal fabrication. Specialization or experience: Stainless steel equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Team player. Experience: 5 years or more.
