Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Sales. Management. Tasks: Plan and organize daily operations. Determine merchandise and services to be sold. Implement price and credits policies. Develop and implement marketing strategies. Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Market business services. Maintain and manage digital database. Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification. Examine products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards. Establish and maintain contact with suppliers. Develop promotional materials. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Check products for quality control. Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions. Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys.
