We prefer all applicants create an online profile to successfully attach your application to this posting. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________<p>Full Time Temporary Educational Assistants <p>St. John Paul II Catholic School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 School <p>St. John Paul II Catholic School in Stony Plain, AB is currently seeking Educational Assistants to assist students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs. <p>The assignment is to begin August 23, 2024 and end June 27, 2025 of the 2024-2025 school year.<p>Salary range $18.98 - $26.83 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.<p>Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications: Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices<p> Experience working with students with diverse needs<p> Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect<p> Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training<p> Mental Health First Aid or equivalent<p> Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assetsRequired Documents: Current Resume<p> Reference Letters<p> Priest Reference Letter<p> Criminal Record Check (dated within six months)<p> Intervention Record Check (dated within six months)Deadline for applications: Friday, May 24, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. <p>All schools in Evergreen Catholic recognize the critical role that teachers serve in the mission of the Catholic Church.
