*Responsibilities* *Tasks* * Estimate cost of projects and prepare detailed and accurate specifications * Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes * Read blueprint, schemas and drawings * Advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards * Consult and collaborate with clients to determine needs and preferences * Develop detailed concepts, plans, or models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures * Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any concerns or issues * Conduct phone/Zoom calls with clients, contractors, and suppliers *Experience and specialization* *Computer and technology knowledge (an asset, not required)* * 20/20 design * Mozaik Software * Adobe Photoshop * AutoCAD * Autodesk REVIT * MS Excel * MS PowerPoint * MS Word * SketchUp *Area of specialization* * Interior design (general) * Architectural design * Kitchen * Residential * Construction * Kitchen cabinets and vanities *Work conditions and physical capabilities* * Attention to detail * Combination of sitting, standing, walking, some lifting * Tight deadlines * Customer service and sales *Personal suitability* * Accurate * Excellent communicator * Client-focused * Flexibility * Openness to learning * Initiative * Organized * Team player Work Location: Hybrid (in-person and remote) Job Types: Full-time, Freelance Pay: $33,100.00-$69,527.62 per year Benefits: * On-site parking Flexible Language Requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: * Commission pay Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON M3J 2C6- LocationNorth York, ON
