Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Clean and lubricate cranes. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures. Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas. Operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Pave and rake asphalt. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Experience: Will train.- Location3450 Uptown BlvdVictoria, BCV8Z 0B9
