I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. <br>Our team of finance experts speaks your language and works in your environment. We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions. <br> <br>I'm looking for a Financial Controller for my client in the Ouest of Montreal, in Dorval. This is a permanent hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 days remote).</p><p>Your responsibilities: <br>- Supervise the accounting team. <br>- Support strategic plans and ensure objectives are met. <br>- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including cash verification, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory and fixed assets. <br>- Liaise with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable shared services teams and relevant departments. <br>- Manage month and year-end closing processes and validate accuracy of financial reports. <br>- Analyze financial results and provide explanations for variances from budgets and forecasts. <br>- Compile, analyze and communicate all reports to senior management. <br>- Manage forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring that financial projections are consistent with strategic objectives. <br>- Develop and manage internal financial controls in place and promote accountability and compliance within the business unit. <br>- Manage all internal and external audits in accordance with accounting procedures and standards. <br>- Manage statutory reporting and compliance. <br>- Participate in special projects.</p><p>- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting with CPA designation. <br>- 5 years accounting experience. <br>- Supervisory experience. <br>- Self-starter, deadline-driven, results-oriented and efficient. <br>- Strong analytical and organizational skills. <br>- Ability to multi-task and make decisions in a fast-paced, complex environment. <br>- Committed, collaborative and flexible. <br>- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel. <br>- General knowledge of ERP systems (Navision - an asset). <br>- Excellent communication skills in French and English.</p>
