Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Retail service establishment. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Establish work schedules. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Oversee payroll administration. Operate cash register. Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments. Tabulate total payment for goods or services required. Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales. Stock shelves and clean counter area. Provide customer service.
