AAA Alarm Systems Ltd., a Bell MTS Company, combines innovative technology with exceptional service to deliver advanced security and automation to residential and small business customers.The Service Technician is responsible for visiting customer premises to install and service our alarm products in a professional manner, providing a positive customer experience every time. The selected candidate will be customer focused, responsible and results orientated.Duties and Responsibilities:Service Technicians are responsible for:Install or repair security systems, alarm devices or related equipment, following AAA standardsDemonstrate systems for customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarmsPrepare documents, such as customer information record or Master monitoring agreementProvide customers with costs for equipment installationIdentify expired life safety devices whale on site and informing customer of requirement to replaceCompleting work orders for all calls attended and submitting them with time sheets on a weekly basisTracking vehicle inventory to ensure equipped to complete the upgrade/service ticket, parts used are recorded properly and equipment requiring repairs is returned to shipping on a timely basisMaintain secure work environment by following safe practices: keep security information confidentialTake part in 24hr on-call service rotationAdhering and promoting AAA's health and safety requirementsOther duties as assigned Qualifications:Demonstrated high level of customer serviceMust be a graduate of a technical school or college, or have experience in the fieldDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair alarm systemsMust possess a valid Manitoba Driver's License and be willing to travel for workMust be able to manage a physically demanding workload involving lifting and carrying, climbing, working aloft and in confined areas and working outdoors in all weather conditionsClass "M", Class "C", and lift certificate considered an assetAdequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.Additional Information: Application Deadline: 05/14/2024 Position Type: Union Position Level: IBEW - 435 Job Status: Regular - Full Time Flexible work profile: Full-time in office (meaning that you will be required to perform your work on-site)Job Location: Canada : Manitoba : Winnipeg At Bell, we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it.
