<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Logistics coordinator - Ocean And Air role will be directly responsible to oversee the smooth flow of goods and services in the supply chain. You are accountable for developing and maintaining positive relationships with air, ocean, and road partners, while communicating and coordinating with carriers, co-loaders, truckers, customs brokers, and other service providers. Additionally, you will work closely with customers to provide shipping and logistics solutions, such as LCL, FCL, LTL, TL, and consolidation.. This is full-time position, Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5 pm.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities and Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Entering shipments into Transportation Management System (TMS) and obtaining documentation, submitting payment to steamship lines and agents.</li><li>Arranging Door to Door delivery, coordinating air/ocean/truck forwarding moves, and opening files while completing EManifest.</li><li>Ensuring proper sourcing of partner carriers and meeting delivery requirements in a timely fashion, while tracking and tracing orders on a daily basis and updating TMS and customers.</li><li>Monitoring on-time delivery appointments and communicating with shippers and consignees, while negotiating service and price with clear expectations.</li><li>Providing solutions for customer demands, and thinking outside the box to ensure excellent customer service.</li><li>Providing rates to the sales team, completing performance reports for all carriers with monthly meetings, and implementing continuous improvement.</li><li>Implementing procedures to prevent issues while performing general clerical duties as assigned, including answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry, and billing.</li><li>Upselling and making inside sales calls to increase business opportunities.</li><li>Performing other tasks and projects as assigned.</li><li>Negotiate service and price with clear expectations.</li><li>Think outside the box to provide solutions for customer demands</li><li>Provide rates to the sales team</li><li>Complete performance reports for all carriers with monthly meetings and implements continuous improvement</li><li>Implement procedures to prevent issues</li><li>Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry, and billing</li><li>Upselling and inside sales calls</li><li>Other tasks and projects as assigned</li></ul><ul><li><strong>Fluent in English (Writing / Reading)</strong></li><li><strong>The ability to speak/write proficiently in Mandarin is an asset.</strong></li><li><strong>Minimum 2 years experience in freight forwarding Industry.</strong></li><li><strong>knowledge of LTL, TL within Canada, and crossborder</strong></li><li><strong>Strong Knowledge of Ocean, Air FCL, and LCL</strong></li><li><strong>Geographical Expertise including mileage, transit time, and DOT governance</strong></li><li><strong>Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external partners</strong></li><li><strong>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</strong></li><li><strong>Strong telephone skills and etiquette and exceptional customer service skills</strong></li><li><strong>Efficient computer skills in Excel, Outlook and Gmail.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Attention to detail and accuracy with data collection and order entry</strong></p></div>Company Description<div>Fast growing solution provider that focuses on customer solutions and employees.</div></div><h3>Company Description</h3><div>Fast growing solution provider that focuses on customer solutions and employees.</div>- LocationNorth York, ON
