Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing and managing payroll for our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages to our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll on a regular basis using various payroll systems such as QuickBooks, Sasannt
- Calculate and enter employee hours, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation adjustments
- Ensure accurate deductions for taxes, benefits, and other withholdings
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and other relevant information
- Generate payroll reports for management review
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure accurate employee data
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
- Proficiency in using payroll software such as PeopleSoft, UltiPro, ADP, or Ceridian
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and their integration with payroll functions
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
