(ERSB) is seeking a passionate, team-oriented, and qualified individual for the Director of Corporate Services position.Eastern Residential Support Board Inc. is a dynamic, well-established not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing residential and emotional support for our clients. We believe in providing comprehensive support and opportunities for personal growth, independence, and inclusion within the community.ERSB's mandate is to provide a community-based home-like living arrangement and support to individuals with physical and/or developmental delays, and to provide the physical and human resources to foster emotional support and physical care for these individuals making an adjustment to community living. ERSB currently operates thirteen cooperative living arrangements in the St. John's metro area and is a unionized organization, with NAPE being the bargaining agent.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Corporate Services reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the financial and administrative functions of the Board, ensuring that the Board's fiscal, human, and physical resources are utilized effectively and efficiently to fulfill the Board's mandate.Essential job functions include:This position is responsible for budgeting and financial management, including the development of the annual budget for ERSB, presenting financial reports to the Board, and monitoring expenditures throughout the year.Working closely with the external auditor, while managing the year end audit processes.Serving as the corporate controller who must effectively manage the treasury activities, financial reporting, and internal controls.Supports management in the interpretation and application of human resource policies and procedures.The Director contributes to ERSB by providing senior professional advice, specialized knowledge, and leadership in developing and evaluating corporate services programs, policies, and strategies.The Director has input into the development and implementation of the strategic and annual business plans, policy development and the day-to-day operations.Address property maintenance issues. Communicating with landlords to maintain properties, and supervises the full time, Maintenance Coordinator, one of three positions reporting to the Director.Other duties as required.QualificationsCompletion of an Undergraduate Degree in Business (Bachelor of Business Administration or Commerce Degree).A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is considered an asset.Minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory role and related management experience.Working knowledge of IT systems, accounting, and information management applications, including Sage 300, Scheduling and Leave Management software, and Microsoft Office.Strong leadership competencies in human resource management and labor relations knowledge in a unionized environment; and an ability to perform when faced with diverse challenges in a complex organization.Excellent written and oral communication skills and teamwork/interpersonal skills.Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.System and process-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.Equivalencies may be considered.The RewardsSalary is in accordance with the HAY Management pay scale, HL20 ($67,982 to $88,377).
